This fall, we welcomed five new members to the group!
First, two postdoctoral fellows joined the team. The first one, Manuel Munoz-Arias, originally from Colombia, completed his M.Sc.. and Ph.D. at the University of New Mexico and the Center for Quantum Information and Control (CQuIC). The second, Alexander McDonald, a native of Ottawa, Canada, comes from the University of Chicago, where he completed his PhD. Prior to that, he completed his master’s degree at McGill University in Montreal.
Next, Othmane Benhayoune-Khadraoui, originally from Morocco, joined the team to start his PhD, after completing his master’s degree at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
Finally, two new students from Quebec are starting their master’s degree within the group. Marie-Frédérique Dumas completed her bachelor’s degree in engineering physics at Polytechnique Montréal, while Benjamin Groleau-Paré completed his undergraduate degree in physics at the Université de Sherbrooke.
