About the Group
The group ‘Theory of Superconducting Quantum Devices’ at the Institut quantique of the Université de Sherbrooke focuses on the physics of superconducting quantum circuits, and more particularly circuit quantum electrodynamics, with applications to quantum information processing and quantum optics. Our theoretical work is done in close collaboration with experimental groups worldwide. Current topics include the development of robust superconducting qubits, improving qubit readout in circuit QED, machine learning as a tool for device characterization and, quantum algorithms for current and near-term quantum information processors.
